The Liverpool Stammtisch invites all those interested to come to the
Denbigh Castle pub, Hackins Hey on the evening of Tuesday 13th June from
19.30 h to meet and greet German speakers of all levels and try out your
own level of proficiency or learn your first words in German. We hope
to have German music of all genres playing from Thus spoke Zarathustra
through Kraftwerk, yodelling, Federkleid, hip hop, urban and rap. There
will be games to play, songs to sing and the bar staff are looking
forward to serving you with a smile. Prost!
Few words about Stammtisch. Germans have a long history of gathering to
discuss ideas over a beer and this is what actually a Stammtisch is. It
is a friendly get together to discuss current events or simply to play
some popular card game. At the Stammtisch meeting you will almost the
same as you were in Germany.
