Traditional folk dancing, music and costumes are often the most colourful and exciting representation of ethnic cultures! From Ukrainian Hopak through Greek Kalamatianos to the Polish Krakowiak – European national dances are a feast for the eyes, ears and soul.
Liverpool European Festival Dance Event will start by the Sailors Gate at the L1. Parade will move through Paradise St towards Whitechapel, Richmond St, Houghton St, Church St and back to Liverpool One Sugarhouse Steps through the Paradise Street. There will be dance groups and artists performing outside the Met Quarter, on Williamson Square, Clayton Square, by the Carphone Warehouse on the Church Street with the amazing Poi Flag performance by the Bring the Fire Project on Sugarhouse Steps!
